I’m so excited to finally reveal my banner! I decided to go with my answer or response to everything in life lately “TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!”. (da da da le da da da)
If this saying/sentence doesn’t make any sense to you watch this and return. If you’re back and it still doesn’t make sense here’s my take on these crazy song lyrics.
To me it means “turn down for nothing”. It means i’m going to start my day and kick ass to the end, it means i’m not going to play small (“Your playing small doesn’t serve the world”).
It means work hard, work out hard, be nice to people, do your best, be generous with your love, your time, your money.
Don’t turn down that dial on all those good things! Turn down for what.
I know it’s quite a strange thing to be your mantra in life but I love it! it’s also a killer song to run to.
