As we head into winter down south, I can’t help but dream back to a year ago when we escaped June in South Africa in favour of a working holiday in Greece.
It was one of those pinch-me trips where we couldn’t quite believe we were getting paid to do this!
You might have already seen my Santorini post, and the post about our sailing trip but I finally had a chance to make one last video of the tiny island where we shot called Folegandros.
Folegandros is a tiny island in the cyclades, about an hour and a half on a (fast) ferry from Santorini.
We took the slooow ferry there, which actually made for a very cool Wes Anderson inspired short film which you can watch here (Ferry’s are so bizarre!)

We loved our week on Folegandros.
It has all the charm and beauty you want out of a Greek island without all the hype and craziness, and if you’re looking for a complete escape this place is it.
We stayed at a place called Provalma Studios, which I highly recommend for the view, the pool and the most delicious breakfasts you get delivered to your room each morning!
Also, if you’re interested in seeing the wedding we shot here, head over to our photography site Lad & Lass. It’s a rad one!
