I know I might seem pretty late to the party but i’ve recently discovered the joys and benefits of Silver shampoo!
I’ve been going a bit blonder than usual this year but I was finding it very difficult to maintain the “cool” tone that I wanted. I really hate that very brassy, dull, yellowy look your hair gets a while after it’s coloured and I had no idea that all I was missing was a bit of silver shampoo.
The shampoo is bright purple in colour and it really brightens and cools your highlights… and a random tip: a friend of mine (with light blonde hair) leaves the shampoo in a bit for a slightly pinky look if you’re into that.
Below is the shampoo I got from my hairdresser. It’s called Indola and it was under R100! (It lasts so long because you only really need to use it once a week or when you feel like your hair is turning a bit brassy).
I’m sure anything you get from hairdresser will be a good one, just don’t over pay for a big name brand.
Are there any brands that you guys would recommend trying?
